Wear a Knit Cap at the Start of Cold-Weather Runs

Using a knit cap at the start of a run in cold weather can reduce heat loss from the head and help you warm up more quickly; remove layers later as needed.

I've always done that at the start of my runs to try and warm up more quickly and then I take it off i shed layers as i go.
