Listen to Music During Breaks Between Work Bouts

Use music during brief rest periods between bouts of cognitive work rather than during the work itself. Familiar, uplifting, motivating music with lyrics can enhance subsequent cognition, focus, and learning when you return to work, ideally in silence or with white noise, brown noise, or 40 Hz binaural beats.
