Use Distraction Strategies During Nicotine Withdrawal

During nicotine withdrawal, use short distraction and urge-management strategies such as listening to a 3–4 minute song, running or doing something active, chewing on a plain toothpick, and otherwise getting your mind off the feeling until the urge passes.

I've heard teenagers say that their that their withdrawal last three to four minutes. So they have a one teenager said, I have a playlist on my phone, that's each song is three to four minutes. And when I start to feel the withdrawal, I pop the music in my ears, and I go do something and I listen to the song.
