Use a Low-Bar Squat to Emphasize Glutes and Low Back

A low-bar squat with a wider stance, hips back, and more torso lean generally emphasizes glutes and low back more and knees less.

1 / 1

If I were to do it in the classic low bar squat, which is again, lowering the bar further down my [00:27:27] back towards a little more like my shoulder blades, I probably take a little bit of a wider [00:27:31] stance. And when I squat, I drive my glutes back further away from the midline.
